Funksion apologizes wholeheartedly for the lack of updates recently. The guys have been very busy writing and recording new material. The good news is that they have recently finished up the mixing for a new song, Evacuation Plan. They have been working with a producer at Brickhouse studios in Virginia Beach. They played the new song for me, and I can tell you without a doubt that it has the best sound of anything they’ve recorded before!

Funksion has also booked a show at Chicho’s on 29th and Pacific, in Virginia Beach. Local rockers The Gloom are also on the bill, and I promise you don’t want to miss this. I’ve seen the set list, and it includes a lot of new material, as well as some oldies they haven’t played in a long, long while. Those of you “back home” in Deep Creek might know what I’m talking about!

I’ve just received word from Funksion that Martha Dumptruck and Eclectic will be playing with Funksion at the Bridge on February 20th. I’ve you’ve never seen them before, be sure to come out!

Funksion will be playing The Bridge, located at the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd, and Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach on February 20th, 2010. Show starts at 9pm. Funksion will be performing new material at this show that hasn’t been played live yet, so you don’t want to miss out!

Funksion is currently in the process of writing new material for an upcoming E.P. expected to be released in spring of 2010.
